Nomad Health, an online job portal for temporary healthcare workers, recently secured $22 million in funding led by HealthQuest Capital. The company appointed Justin Lambert as its new CEO, replacing Dr. Alexi Gharib Nazem, who will remain on the board of directors. Nomad allows users to search for healthcare job openings nationwide based on pay and specialty, manage resumes, and apply for positions. The funding will be used to expand the company’s product portfolio. In 2021, Nomad raised a total of $105 million, while other companies like ShiftMed and ShiftKey are also addressing healthcare staffing shortages with significant funding rounds.
