Malcolm Ian Mitchell graduated from Newcastle University in 1972 and met his wife Lynne there. He worked in general medicine at hospitals in Newcastle before becoming a senior radiographer in Glasgow. In 1982, he joined Pfizer, where he held various positions over the years. Mitchell is a supporter of the British Heart Foundation and has completed numerous fundraising activities for the organization. Overall, Mitchell has had a successful career in the medical field and remains active in supporting charitable causes.
