A doctor in private practice, Julian Kenyon, has been struck off the UK medical register for trying to sell unproven treatments to a patient with advanced cancer. The patient’s daughter, also a doctor, complained to the General Medical Council (GMC). Kenyon, who was medical director at the Dove Clinic for Integrated Medicine, offered alternative medicine treatments to a man with stage IV metastatic prostate cancer. Despite the patient seeking ozone therapy, Kenyon recommended a treatment plan involving Cannabidiol and other unproven treatments. The tribunal found his conduct morally culpable and disgraceful, leading to his removal from the medical register.
