Better Health, a platform for patients with chronic conditions, has secured $14 million in funding to expand its services to more patients. The platform, based in San Francisco, offers support for conditions such as ostomy, chronic wounds, diabetes, and incontinence, providing peer coaching, education, and home delivery of medical supplies. The funding, which includes investments from Healthworx, the University of Miami Health System, and Mosaic General Partnership, will be used to improve care solutions and expand into new product categories. Better Health aims to address the challenges faced by patients with chronic conditions, such as isolation, lack of education, and difficulties accessing medical supplies.
