Uber Health is introducing Uber Caregiver, which allows users to add a caregiver to their profile to request rides and deliveries, track them in real time, and pay using the caregiver’s health benefits. Caregivers can access insights into the care recipient’s benefits, such as grocery benefits or covered rides. To delegate a caregiver, an Uber account is required. The service will be available this summer and aims to provide a one-stop shop for caregivers to manage benefits and expenses for their loved ones. Uber Health plans to partner with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial plans to expand its services.
