The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting will take place in Chicago from May 31 – June 4, with over 45,000 attendees from around the world. More than 7000 abstracts were submitted, with over 5000 selected for presentation. The theme for this year is “The Art and Science of Cancer Care: From Comfort to Cure.” Important topics include patient well-being, survivorship, and palliative care. New research presentations will include immunotherapy combinations for melanoma and osimertinib for non-small cell lung cancer.
