Sudan: Aid workers describe “bloodbath” in Darfur as hospitals are repeatedly attacked

Sudan’s South Hospital in El Fasher has been targeted twice in two days as the civil war in Darfur continues. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) reported that the ongoing fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces has left no safe place for civilians in the city. Patients and medical staff are at risk, and the health system is struggling to treat the wounded. Since the conflict began in April 2023, nearly [number] of civilians have been killed or injured.
