Pay negotiationsJunior doctors in Wales secure strike extensionBMA Cymru Wales has secured an extension of three months to the strike mandate for junior doctors to 17 September. The Welsh government and NHS Employers agreed to the extension to allow talks to continue, after recognising the strength of feeling among junior doctors and an overwhelming 98% vote by members last December in favour of industrial action.
