Nonprofit organization Zero Overdose has partnered with Pear Suite to provide training for community health workers and other service providers on overdose safety planning and prevention. The partnership aims to enhance CHWs’ skills in motivational interviewing, de-escalation, and identifying individuals at risk for suicide and overdose. Pear Suite’s Care Navigation Platform collects health data to assist CHWs in addressing social determinants of health. This collaboration is a groundbreaking step in the fight against the overdose crisis, empowering CHWs to make a real difference in substance abuse and overdose prevention. Pear Suite has also partnered with OutCare Health and Zero Overdose on similar initiatives to address health disparities and reduce overdose deaths.
