The Royal College of General Practitioners and the Faculty of Public Health have topped the climate and health scorecard, evaluating UK health organisations’ efforts to tackle the climate emergency. 19 organizations, including nine medical royal colleges, participated in the initiative, which assesses internal operations, finance, education, and advocacy. Experts from various fields contributed to the questionnaire, with individual reports highlighting progress and next steps. Results will be published biennially to monitor progress and support cross-organizational learning. The initiative aims to encourage health organizations to take further action in addressing the climate and ecological emergency.
