The results suggest that a junk food-filled diet in teenagers may disrupt their brains’ memory ability for a long time. Additionally, the study explored the link between poor diet and reduced levels of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter essential for memory and cognitive functions. Further research is needed to understand how memory problems caused by a junk food diet in adolescence can be reversed.
