Foggy uses the Taptic Engine in an Apple Watch to provide vibrotactile stimulation to assist with freezing of gait. The feature is available through the company’s Parky app via prescription. h2o therapeutics also offers a COVID-19 smartwatch system, Covie. Other companies in the wearable monitoring market include NeuroRPM and Rune Labs, which both offer monitoring apps for Parkinson’s symptoms.
