CooperVision has launched its Generation Sight initiative to provide myopia management for underserved children, with the first participants enrolled in Boston and Chicago. The program offers free treatment with CooperVision’s MiSight 1 day soft contact lenses and Paragon CRT orthokeratology contact lenses. Academic partners are collaborating to identify and treat children in need. The company plans to evaluate the program’s performance to expand its reach to other communities. CooperVision’s commitment to quick implementation and access to myopia care for under-resourced children is highlighted, with the initial group of children serving as pioneers for future participants.
