Clarius Mobile Health and ThinkSono have partnered to create an AI-enabled application called ThinkSono Guidance in Europe for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) detection. Clarius handheld wireless AI-powered ultrasound scanners connect to smartphones, providing high-resolution images to clinicians. ThinkSono Guidance allows non-trained health providers to collect DVT data using Clarius scanners for review by qualified physicians. The application has received Class IIb CE mark approval and is available in Europe and the U.K, with clinical studies underway at various healthcare institutions. ThinkSono has also received funding for its AI solutions in DVT detection and is expanding into the U.S market. Additionally, Clarius has released various AI-driven solutions for ultrasound imaging and received funding for expansion.
