Drugmaker Boehringer Ingelheim and GoodRx have partnered to offer Boehringer’s Humira biosimilar on GoodRx’s platform for an exclusive cash price of $550 per two-pack, a 92% discount from the Humira list price. This biosimilar drug, adalimumab-adbm, is used to treat autoimmune conditions. Patients can receive a coupon through GoodRx to access the cash price at over 70,000 retail pharmacies in the U.S. The partnership aims to make specialty medications more affordable for patients, particularly those with High Deductible Health Plans or limited insurance coverage. GoodRx plans to offer more biosimilars at exclusive cash prices in the future.
