World FTD Awareness Week!

The New York Times is sporting a full page today on frontotemporal dementia to kick off World FTD Awareness Week (Sept. 25- Oct. 2, 2016)! FTD is the most common form of dementia affecting people under the age of 60.
Visit The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s websitefor information about conditions under the FTD umbrella and various resources available in your area.
Tulsa area followers, we have a free monthly support group through the AFTD for primary progressive aphasia, a subtype of FTD. For information on PPA, check out our article in our June blog post. To view details of our monthly group or to register, click here.
Feel free to contact us with any questions, and we’re happy to help any way we can! Let’s work together this week to raise awareness of lesser known forms of dementia!
