Weight-Loss Drug May Cut Seizures in Rare Type of Epilepsy

Topline results of a second phase 3 study show that low-dose fenfluramine, which has previously been used as a weight-loss drug, may cut seizure frequency in patients with Dravet syndrome who are not well controlled with antiseizure agents.
