The mission continues + sharing some links!

Tomorrow begins a brand new month. First off, this year needs to sloooow down. The month of March also means that heart month is officially over. But, is it really? For many heart babies and adults like myself, heart month is all 365 days of the year.

Through this past month, you might have seen numerous social media shares about what a congenital heart defect is, the names and definitions of defects, multiple procedures given, and how more funding and research is necessary on so many levels.

Heart month continues on tomorrow for babies and adults like me. It is an incurable disease that is filled with many hardships and blessings. Your Facebook or Instagram feed will not be filled with all things heart related anymore, but that doesn’t mean we still need awareness, support and funding for research.

Let’s keep spreading awareness all year-long. Let’s pray for all CHD babies and adults who are facing multiple operations every single day. If you or someone you know has CHD and looking for support or proper care, check out the Adult Congenital Heart Association. For you heart mommas, check out the Pediatric Congenital Heart Association. Both of these websites are amazing organizations helping so many heart patients and families myself.
