Summer Internship/ Scholarship Program

At SNR we are proud to be a teaching facility and accept interns from in-state and out-of-state university graduate programs each spring and fall semester. We are now excited to announce our new summer internship/scholarship program which we are launching this year! First and second year speech pathology graduate students from any university are encouraged to apply each spring for that summer’s rotation. The recipient receives a $2,000 scholarship to be awarded in the fall and completes a part time (2 day per week) internship rotation at SNR for 12 weeks in the summer to gain hands on experience with a very unique caseload of complex swallowing and voice cases.
This year we had several applicants from different graduate programs, all of which were very competitive. Congratulations to graduate student Kally Sommers from Northeastern State University who was selected for this summer’s internship and scholarship opportunity! Welcome to SNR! We are looking forward to mentoring you this summer.
