The Brow Lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure performed to improve the appearance of the forehead by smoothing out wrinkles and creases and lifting the brow to a more youthful, alert position. The brow lift is often performed using one of two primary techniques: the traditional approach, or the endoscopic approach. In the endoscopic approach, smaller incisions are made in the hairline and a small instrument with a camera on the end, called an endoscope, is used. This approach is better for simpler adjustments and the smaller incisions mean a shorter recovery time typically as well. The traditional brow lift approach uses a coronal incision that runs from ear to ear within the hairline.
