A new case of clade Ib mpox has been found in England, with the patient being treated in Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust after returning from Uganda. UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is monitoring the situation closely as Uganda is experiencing community transmission of this variant. The agency has not released any further details about the case.
