Kaiser’s Risant Health to add Cone Health

Kaiser Permanente announced the acquisition of Cone Health in North Carolina, expanding its Risant Health network. Cone Health includes four acute-care hospitals, over 700 doctors, an accountable care organization, and a health plan. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, and neither Kaiser nor Cone provided immediate comments. This move will further strengthen Kaiser Permanente’s presence in the healthcare market.
