The research included 2,313 patients and found that AF events were less likely in the early morning hours and on weekends compared to working hours and weekdays. The study showed a dose-response relationship between outdoor heat and AF episodes, with higher temperatures correlating with increased odds of AF events. The researchers emphasized the importance of communicating this information to clinicians to help prevent arrhythmic events in patients with heart disease.
