The DECIDER project, funded by the EU with 15 million euros, aims to improve diagnostics and treatment of ovarian cancer using artificial intelligence over a 5-year period. The project involves partners from 14 organizations in seven EU countries and focuses on developing personalized treatments for patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. By integrating and visualizing patient data, including genomic and histopathological information, the project aims to predict treatment responses and discover more effective drug combinations. Legal researchers are also addressing ethical and legal concerns related to the project, with the goal of facilitating the commercialization of personalized therapies.
