Healthcare technology company Syra Health, based in Indiana, has signed a one-year $480,000 contract with the Indiana Department of Health to assess the impact of public health risks on infrastructure and behavioral health in the state. The company provides population health tools, including health equity and epidemiology-focused solutions, and offers analytics on social determinants of health. The agreement aims to help identify risks to public health and the healthcare system in Indiana, and to allocate resources to create a health network for residents. The contract may be extended for an additional year if successful. Syra Health recently became a publicly traded company and has secured contracts with the City of San Antonio and Minnesota’s Department of Human Services.
