Bon Secours Hospital Cork is Ireland’s largest private hospital. Established in 1915, the hospital has 344 beds, employs over 1,000 staff and cares for more than 100,000 patients per annum. Risk stratified early detection of prostate cancer and endoscopic treatment of complex stone disease are sub-specialty interests within the fully equipped department and BSH Cork possesses advanced diagnostic facilities that provide rapid access to tests and results.

In the context of the strategic development and expansion of services at Bon Secours Hospital Cork, we are seeking to recruit and hereby invite applications for 2 Consultant Urologists, one of which is to replace a retiring Consultant Urologist (General Urology) and one additional new post to expand the existing team (Consultant Urologist with specialised training in robot-assisted surgery for urological cancer). The successful appointee for the robotic surgery post will provide the lead for establishing robotic urological cancer surgery at our Hospital.
Applicants must have:
• The Intercollegiate Fellowship (Urology) or a qualifi cation in Urology equivalent thereto
• Inclusion or eligibility to be included in the division of Urology of the register of Medical Specialist maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland.
