In partnership with the Colon Cancer Coalition, Salix Pharmaceuticals launched the Faces of Blue campaign to raise awareness about the importance of colorectal cancer screening and early detection.
“Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death for both men and women combined, but it doesn’t have to be,” Nicola Kayel, vice president of GI marketing at Salix Pharmaceuticals, said in a Healio video exclusive. “Salix, in partnering with Colon Cancer Coalition, our social influencers and launching our educational resources, hopes to educate people about the risks of colorectal cancer and continue to bring awareness to the importance of early life-saving colonoscopy screening.”
