New at TCSC: Juvéderm® VOLITE.

The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, Waterloo, Juvederm VoliteThere’s a new injectable treatment on the market, and we’ve got it at TCSC. Brought to you by the makers of BOTOX®, Juvéderm® VOLITE is an anti-aging injectable, developed to improve your skin’s quality from the inside out.

What is Juvéderm Volite?

Juvéderm Volite is an innovative injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality for up to nine months with just one treatment session. Volite is not a dermal filler, it is a skin conditioning gel for exceptional skin hydration, elasticity, and softness, developed to deliver a healthy-looking glow.

How does Juvéderm Volite work?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a molecule that occurs naturally in our body. It’s also found in endless skincare products and in many of the dermal fillers we use to temporarily fill lines and restore lost volume. As we age, the amount of naturally-occurring HA in our skin decreases, which contributes to the visible effects of aging. That’s where Juvéderm Volite comes in.

Juvéderm Volite is essentially a HA gel, injected into the middle layers of the dermis. Because HA can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water, it immediately gets to work plumping and hydrating skin. HA is also known to stimulate collagen production, which enables Volite to increase the elasticity of the skin while smoothing imperfections and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

What can Juvéderm Volite treat?

Suitable for all ages and skin types, Juvéderm Volite delivers improvements in skin smoothness (the absence of fine lines), hydration, and elasticity, and even has a slight lifting effect. It can be used to treat and nourish the skin in the face, neck, decolletage (chest) and hands.

How long do results last?

Juvéderm Volite aims to deliver results that last, eliminating the need for multiple treatments. Just one treatment session provides clinically-proven dermal hydration for up to nine months.

What should I expect from a Juvéderm Volite treatment at TCSC?

The product contains the anaesthetic lidocaine, and is injected with a very fine needle to ensure optimal patient comfort. Our Nurse Injector Majid is highly skilled in injectable techniques, so you should only feel a slight sting on your skin initially during the procedure, which you can expect to last approximately 45-60 minutes.

As with any other injectable treatment, you might experience some redness or bruising at the injection site following treatment, but this should resolve within a few days. You can return to your regular activities immediately following treatment.

How much does Juvéderm Volite cost?

At The Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, the cost of a Juvéderm Volite treatment is $600 per syringe.
