I’m in my first industry job and was hoping to get some insight from others who have more experience in the pharma/biotech world. I’ve been at my current company for several years and recently there have been many policies implemented to discourage data sharing and communication between departments. The atmosphere has become very secretive and it’s beginning to hinder my ability to do my job effectively. Possibly the must frustrating part is that these policies are not proactively communicated to RA/Scientist level employees and we only find out about them when we hit a wall trying to obtain information. Is this a normal part of a company’s evolution or a red flag?
