Does Biology give well paid jobs ???

I want to pursue a degree in biological sciences at university, as that is what I’m intrested in.. however after a degree, are there many jobs available I could go into that would pay a decent salary, or would I just have to go into research? I’m not sure if I should invest lots of time and energy into something which would leave me unemployed or on minimum wage at the end of it … Any advice would be welcome 🙂
